Cancellation Policy

At SeaSaLT, we value your time and commitment to therapy. To ensure smooth scheduling and fair access to appointments for all clients, we kindly ask that you follow our cancellation guidelines outlined below.

1. Notice Period

We require at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another client who may be on our waiting list.

2. Late Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the session fee, except in cases of genuine emergencies.

3. Missed / No-Show Appointments

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and no notice is provided, the full session fee will be charged.

4. Telephone Consult For Sick Children

If your child is sick and this requires a last-minute cancellation, a telephone or video call will be offered to support you until the next appointment. Resources can be discussed and emailed.

5. Therapist Cancellations

If we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:

  • A rescheduled appointment to suit you
  • A full refund for prepaid sessions

We will always attempt to provide as much notice as possible.

6. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting the times for other clients. The full session fee will still apply. Always inform us if you will be late so we can try our best to facilitate this.

7. Block Bookings & Packages

For block sessions or prepaid packages:

  • Refunds are not provided for unused sessions.
  • Sessions can be rescheduled within the agreed time period (typically 3 months).
  • Please contact us early to avoid losing a session.

8. Online Sessions

For online appointments, please ensure you have access to a stable internet connection. Technical issues on the client's side may be treated as a late cancellation if the session cannot proceed.

Booking a session with SeaSaLT Speech & Language Therapy indicates that you have read and agreed to the terms of this cancellation policy. Clients will be asked to sign the terms and conditions of the clinic.
