About Me
Hello, I'm Aoife Dillon - founder of SeaSaLT Speech & Language Therapy.
I started SeaSaLT because I've been on the other side of the waiting list. As a parent who supported my youngest child through an early speech sound delay, I know how overwhelming it can feel - and how much difference the right support makes. I wanted to make that support easier for other families to access.
I hold a Social Care degree from TU Dublin, a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin, and a Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership from the Royal College of Surgeons. I am registered with CORU, HCPC, IASLT, Teaching Council, ISTI and RCSLT.
My background spans the disability sector, supporting adults and children across a wide range of needs and settings. My approach is person-centred, evidence-based, and grounded in real-life application - not just clinical theory.
I maintain an active CPD profile and participate in specialist interest groups across speech, language, communication and swallowing, so my practice stays current and responsive to emerging evidence.
